Richard (Dick) Victor Rubeck Sr. passed away Sunday June 16th, 2024 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain.
Richard was born in Lackawanna, New York on May 1, 1933, son of the late George F and Mildred C (Nee Percy) Rubeck.
He served in the U.S. Navy fighting in the Korean War.
He worked as a Quality Controller at Ford Motor Co. and retired after 38 years.
Richard was a life member of the Lorain Moose Lodge having held all the chairs and served as governor 4 times. He was also a life member of the Sheffield VFW. He enjoyed camping, spending time with his grandchildren, gardening and spending time with his dog Smokey.
Richard is survived by his wife of 47 years Linda M. Rubeck, four daughters: Roseann Everett of Lorain, Sharon Rubeck of New York, Cheryl Craft of Colorado, Darlene of Texas and three sons Ron Sr. (Tonya) Coggins of Lorain, Jim L. (Kym) Coggins of Vermilion, Richard Rubeck Jr. of New York. Richard is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren.
