Robert Kelley Obituary

     Robert L. "Bob" Kelley, 84 of Amherst passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the Mercy-New Life Hospice in Lorain following a brief illness.
     Mr. Kelley was born in Elyria on June 15, 1935, the son of the late DeForest B. and Florence  Ann (nee Reinke) Kelley. He was a 1953 graduate of Brownhelm High School. He was a member of the Brownhelm Congregational United Church of Christ. 
     He worked his entire working as a carpenter with both the Hale Construction Company and the former T. J. Hume Construction Company.  He was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local #435.
     Mr. Kelley was an avid sportsman and thoroughly enjoyed spending as much hunting and fishing as he could. He was a former member of the Kipton Sportman's Club and former member the Eagles Club.  
     Bob is survived by his wife of 23 years,Linda (nee Wiencke) Kelley, daughters Terry (Vic) Gerber of Doylestown, Debbie (Randy) Sanders of Oberlin, Katy (Mark Muska) of Amherst, daughter in law Sharon (the late Don) Brill of Vermilion, grandchildren, Kelley (Brian) Wondrak, Erin Gerber, Alex Brill, Zach Brill, Brittany (Chad) Haponek, Amanda (Mike Diaz) Cluley,  great grandchildren Landon, Avery, Parker, Cruz, sister Martha Waller of Marietta, brother Tom Kelley of Jeromesville,and many nieces and nephews..
     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Christine Kelley in 2007, a son Don Brill in 2003 and a brother John Kelley.
     Friends and family may gather on Monday, January 6, 2020 in Brownhelm Cemetery at 11:00 am for a graveside service and then the friends and family will meet at noon in the Fraternal Order of  Eagles, 1161 Milan Ave. Amherst for a Celebration of His Life. The Rev. Joyce Schroer, pastor of the Brownhelm Congregational United Church of Christ will officiate.
     The family suggest that memorial contributions maybe made to Friendship A.P.L., 8303 Murray Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035
