Roger D. Prihoda

Mr. Roger Dale Prihoda, son of the late Archie Prihoda and Linda (Heckleman) Prihoda, was born on June 24th, 1954 in Goshen, IN. He was a graduate of Goshen High School and Ozark Bible Institute. At a young age he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and attended First Assembly.

He was united in holy matrimony to Teresa Kincer on September 12th, 1981. He was a devoted and loving husband for 39 years. This union was blessed with two children Eric (Courtney) and Nick (Amanda) Prihoda. He was promoted to grandpa in 2008 with eight more grandchildren to follow. Grandchildren include Ainsleigh, Averi, Anderson, Asher, Cole, Bryson, Alex, Allianna, and Myles. Roger was dedicated to his grandchildren by always attending birthday parties, sports practices, dance recitals, and other events.

He was an active board member, bus driver, Sunday school teacher, and youth pastor at Broadway Assembly. He found great joy in sharing his faith in Jesus with all he came in contact with. He enjoyed reading and ministering to the youth.

His influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him, He went to his heavenly home on February 14th, 2021 surrounded by his wife and children. He is survived by his brothers Raymond (Joyce), Mark, and sister Beverly.

The viewing will be at Broadway Assembly, 5495 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052, on Friday February 19th, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The service will be held at Broadway Assembly on Saturday February 20th, 2021 at 11:00 am, with Pastor Matt Jones officiating. He will be laid to rest at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst.
