Roxie L. (Horne) Teare

    Roxie L. Teare, 92, (nee Horne) of Toledo and formerly of Lorain passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Franciscan Care Center in Toledo following a long illness.
     Mrs. Teare was born in Lorain on October 27, 1927, the daughter of the late Harold H. and Bernice (nee Billingsly) Horne. She was a member of the Class of 1945 at Lorain High School. 
     She worked the majority of her life as a bookkeeper retiring in 2012. 
     Mrs. Teare is survived by daughters, Sharon L Boggess of Cleveland, Linda L. Mays of Lorain, son Darrell R Mays of Lorain, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Robert E. Mays, James Teare and a sister Dorthea Horne.
     Graveside Services will be held on Monday, Feb. 3, 2020 at 1:30 PM in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst, OH.
     The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Ste 1509, New York, NY 10018.
