Sharon Ann (Denger) Elek

Sharon A. (nee Denger) Elek, 68 of Lorain passed away at her home following a long illness.

Mrs. Elek was born in Amherst, Ohio on August 26, 1954, the daughter of the late Norman and Doris (Dilworth) Denger.

She was a graduate of Marion L Steele High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. The grandchildren was the love of her life.

Sharon is survived by Jan M. Helbig of Lorain, sons, Thomas R. Elek, Michael B. (Jennifer) Elek of Elyria, 7 grandchildren, two great granddaughter, Ste daughter Danielle (Jason) Osborn of Elyria, Stepsons Donald Patchin of Elyria, Louis Cruz of Arkansas, brother Norman.(Mary Ann) Denger, Jr. of Amherst,  niece Carie McDonald and a nephew Todd Denger. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Thomas J. "Whitey" Elek in 2018.

Friends may call on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 2:00 pm until services at 4: 00 pm.
