Treva Marie (Arnett) Yeary

     Treva M. Yeary, 83, (nee Arnett) of Lorain, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 following a long illness.

     Mrs. Yeary was born in Rose Hill, Virginia on October 5, 1938, the daughter of the late James Dallard and Drushneal (nee Pace) Arnett. She was a 1956 graduate of Thomas Walker High School in Ewing, VA. On Christmas Eve later that year, she married the love of her life, Cyrus Leon in Tazewell, TN, and were happily married for 63 years.

     She was a homemaker. She enjoyed connecting with others on Facebook, cooking, gardening, flowers, bird watching, and spending time with her friends and family.

     Treva was an extraordinary mother. She dedicated her life to caring for her special needs son.

     She is survived by her daughter, Joyce M. (Donald) Rangel of Vermilion, sons Michael R. (Cheryl) Yeary of Littleton, CO, Randall L. Yeary, with whom she made her home, grandchildren Tamber McNeal, Mariah Yeary, Derek Rangel, Garrett Rangel, great granddaughter Anna McNeal, sisters, Freda Harris of Mentor, Dorothy Coephine (Bud) Harvey of Knoxville, TN, and a brother Alfred Arnett of Napa, CA.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Cyrus L. Yeary in 2020, brothers Clophus (Harry) Arnett, and Wayne Arnett,

     Friends may call on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 11:00 am until noon in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH. Graveside services will follow in the Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion, OH.
