Virginia J. (Dills) Kreason

     Virginia J. Kreason, 83, (nee Dills) of Lorain passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

      Mrs. Kreason was born in Lambert, PA on February 9, 1937, the daughter of the late Glenn W. and  Ethel P. (nee Donges) Dils.

      She was a graduate of Lorain High School, class of 1955; she sang in the high school Acapela Choir. She also attended the Ohio Business College.

      Mrs. Kreason was a retired loan officer.

      She was a member of Lorain Senior Center and formerly volunteered with the Salvation Army ringing bells and playing in the band. She enjoyed crocheting, playing the piano, and watching movies.

      Virgina is  survived by daughters: Ann (David) Ramage, of Wakeman, Daneen Lee of Lorain, Mary (Dexter Sullivan) Klier of Crestview, FL, grandchildren:  Jennifer Krause, Jamie Weaver, Amanda Jacoby, Herbert Jacoby III, Clinton Scaff, Charles Scaff, Cara Cotner, great grandchildren: Jeremy Krause Jr.,Lucas Krause, Jacob Krause, Katelyn Krause, Joseph Jackson, Austin Jackson, Logan Jackson, Hannah Gunter, Alianna Cotner, Mason Cotner, Carolina Scaff, Calista Scaff, Cannon Scaff, Kirstyn Palmer,  Cohen Palmer, Richard Lynch.    

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Kreason in 2008, grandson: Jeremy Krause, brothers: Glenn Dills, Earl Dills, and Richard Dills.

      Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at noon in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain. 

      The Schwartz, Spencer, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain assisted the family with arrangements.
