William (Bill) Pasta Jr.

     William (Bill) Pasta Jr. passed away on December 21, 2024 at New Life Hospice in Lorain after a long illness.

     Bill was born in Lorain on March 5, 1935, the son of the late Helen (Gendics) and William Pasta.

     He attended Grace Baptist Church in Lorain. 

     He was employed as a Millwright at US Steel Lorain for 40+ Years, retiring in 1985. He also worked as a mechanic for FedEx for many years.

     He enjoyed deer hunting and visiting friends and family. 

     Bill is survived by his daughter Sheryl Pasta, sons John Pasta, James Pasta  and Robert (Ann) Pasta all of Lorain. He is also survived by several grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley A. Pasta (nee Downing), son Timothy Pasta, Sr. and daughter Patty Waters.

     Friends may call on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM until a Celebration of Life at  1:00 PM at Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th St. Lorain, OH. with Rev. Robert G. Cool Jr. officiating.

     Burial will follow at the Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
